LIMAB UK Ltd is a privately owned British company founded in September 2007. The company is managed by John Miller who has over 17 years experience working with non-contact industrial measuring systems and was formerly the Sales Director of Scantron Industrial Products Ltd for many years.

The company supplies a full range of laser measuring systems manufactured by LIMAB AB in Gothenburg Sweden. Customer support, commissioning and on-going service requirements are all provided by the UK company. In addition to the LIMAB products the company are specialists in other laser based non-contact laser measuring systems for on-line dimensional measurement and are able to offer their expertise in providing complete turn-key measuring measurement solutions.

LIMAB AB was established in 1979 and has been dedicated to producing state of the art non-contact measuring sensors and systems ever since. Limab have made large investments in technology, production facilities, R & D and personnel. This is all part of their ongoing commitment to provide the market with innovative non-contact measurement solutions.

Today Limab specialises in supplying laser measuring systems to a number of industry sectors.

LIMAB - where does this strange name come from?

When the company was first founded it was called Laser och Instrument makanik AB this was later shortened to LIMAB and then became LIMAB AB in 2004.
