Overview
The WireProfiler is a multi-axis non oscillating mill gauge for the measuring the true profile of wire rod in-process. The gauge suitable for any hot rolled round or rebar wire rod product.

Operating Principle
The WireProfiler uses up to 6 high performance laser micrometers, each one scanning at 12000 Hz making it the fastest rod mill gauge available today. The true cross section shape is is determined by measuring at 12 points around the circumference of the rod. The WireProfiler has a patented algorithm ensuring that the movement of the object in the measuring field does not affect the measuring accuracy.
