In November last year, we were excited to announce the addition of a brand new product to our already extensive range of temperature measurement and thermal processing equipment.
The Impac Series 600 pyrometer, for non-contact temperature measurement of non-metallic or coated metallic surfaces in industrial manufacturing applications, boasts the following features:

- Supports 1-8 measurement points, making it one of the most adaptable options on the market today
- Field configurable and highly flexible plug-and-play functionality
- Field-replaceable sensor heads without the need for factory recalibration
- Analog and digital outputs, with and without display screen
The Impac Series 600 pyrometer has now been expanded to include four new sensor heads, the IS 600, IGA 600, IGA 600/23 and IN 600/ enabling it to be used for a wider range of temperatures, materials and industrial applications.
The temperature range has been extended to -40 to 2500°C, it now covers five spectral ranges between 0.7 to 14 μm and can be used in applications including steel, glass and ceramics manufacturing.
In addition to the new sensor heads, single and multi-channel converter boxes have been introduced providing greater flexibility in factory automation communication options. Providing an optional display for temperature measurement and parameters directly in the instrument, the converter boxes enable users to conveniently change the settings without connecting to a separate computer in the field.
