In-Process NIR Moisture Measurement Gauges
Near-infrared (NIR) gauging systems can be supplied in either single or dual channel configurations. A single channel gauge is suitable for measuring either moisture or coat-weight, whereas a dual channel gauge can simultaneously measure both moisture and coat-weight and will provide two measurement outputs.

Our range of NIR gauges provides a reliable and accurate method for measuring the moisture and coat-weight of many types of coatings applied to substrate web materials, with configurations suitable for measuring either the wet coating before drying or the final dry coat-weight.

The LaserSpeed® Pro range of gauges measure process speed and length using a non-contact method. It is a direct replacement for existing contact rotary encoders to improve the accuracy and reliability of in-process measurement. As the laser technology is contactless, they can measure delicate or soft materials that you might be running without marking them.
