Overview

Replacing the PrediktIR, the PrediktIR II Bulk Materials Moisture Gauge has been designed to provide high accuracy,  stable and dependable measurement to the bulk materials industry at a cost-effective price. Using NIR non-contact technology, it is suitable for many types of continuous processes and will provide real-time moisture measurements, that can be used to tightly control the process and warn operators if the process is moving out of specification, thereby increasing yield and improving quality. Efficiency improvements can result in substantial cost reductions and investment payback in a matter of months.

Continuous Product Flows

PrediktIR II measures over a 60 mm diameter standard beam patch size. It is suspended over the process line at a distance of 250 mm from the mean product height and tolerates product height fluctuations of ±100 mm.

System Configuration

The PrediktIR II Bulk Materials Moisture Gauge is designed to accommodate a wide range of possible configurations. Examples of single and two gauge configurations are shown below. PrediktIR II Bulk Materials Moisture Gauges, in 304 stainless steel enclosures, are connected to a PrediktIR II GCI with a 10-inch colour touchscreen and PrediktIR II PH delivering 24V DC.
