LIMAB will be attending this years Tube international trade fair held at Düsseldorf, Germany. LIMAB specialise in laser and inspection equipment to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs for our customers. LIMAB will be showing the latest version of our TubeProfiler for measuring the shape / geometry of tubes and pipes. The TubeProfiler uses the latest laser triangulation technology to provide accurate and fast shape and cross section measurement of hot tubes in a rolling mill environment. The system is suitable for either cold or hot tubes from 20-2000 mm in diameter.

Our new non contact thickness or width measuring system developed to meet the needs of the foam, rubber and insulation material producers but is also suitable for many other types of materials such as wood based panels and various laminates. These types of materials can now be accurately measured on-line saving time and ensuring customer satisfaction by eliminating rejects due to incorrect caliper. The system provides full process monitoring recording all product thickness and length data ready for instant access if required at a later date. In addition a convenient statistical report is also compiled summarising the measurement over an entire reel of production or product shift.

LIMAB will be attending the 4th Global Insulation Conference held at Prague on the 2-3 of November 2009 The conference will concentrate on energy efficiency in manufacture, recyclability, product optimisation and insulation advances; innovation, development and networking; mineral wool, polyurethane, cellulose, fibreglass, polyiso, polystyrene and other thermal insulation materials.
LIMAB will be showing one of our non contact thickness and width measuring systems and will be available to discuss any measuring applications.
