LIMAB UK, specialists in non-contact laser and optical measuring systems for industrial applications, is proud to announce the formation of a sister company, Control Metrix Ltd. Effective from mid-January 2025, Control Metrix Ltd will operate as a separate entity, and will take over the sale of all non-LIMAB products and services. Control Metrix offers dedicated solutions to a broad range of industries, while LIMAB UK will continue to concentrate exclusively on LIMAB-branded products with its emphasis on laser measurement technology for applications within the steel, sawmill, and building materials industries.

Since its inception over 17 years ago, LIMAB UK has grown from a distributor of LIMAB-manufactured laser sensors to a key player in the industry, expanding its portfolio and entering new markets through strategic partnerships with world-class technology suppliers. As the company has evolved, it became clear that a more focused approach was necessary to best serve the growing needs of its customers and partners.
To better reflect this diversified offering, LIMAB UK has established Control Metrix Ltd as a dedicated entity for all non-LIMAB products and services, separating the two brands for greater clarity and streamlined operations. This change will allow both companies to operate with enhanced focus, ensuring each brand can continue to evolve in line with its core product offerings.

Control Metrix Ltd will now handle all our non-LIMAB products and services, which were previously managed under the LIMAB UK umbrella. This transition will not impact the service and support that customers have come to expect from both brands. Customers who previously purchased non-LIMAB products or services through LIMAB UK will now engage directly with Control Metrix Ltd for these solutions.
Importantly, LIMAB UK Ltd will continue to operate and focus exclusively on LIMAB-manufactured products and services. Outstanding orders placed through LIMAB UK Ltd will be fulfilled as agreed, and customers will continue to work with LIMAB UK for any future orders of LIMAB products.
